As talking about budget or mid range category in 2016, the 1st name which comes in everyone’s mind is Redmi Note 3. No doubt it’s the King of budget mid range segment. Redmi Note 3 also started trend of big size battery of 4000mah with slim form factor in this price bracket and also the trend of metal unibody. 2. Moto G4 Plus:
Moto launched it’s 1st phone under Lenovo this year, The Moto G4 Plus. This phone is also one of the best selling phone on Amazon this year. This phone has best rear facing camera around this price. It has 16MP Camera with Laser autofocusing system. As every other phone in this price range is going for metal body, Moto decided to go for the matte finished plastic body with metal edges. The software is also well optimized here and this phone also got 7.0 nougat a few days back. The only drawback of this phone is the processor, Snapdragon 617. This processor tends to heat up very much. So gaming is not possible with this phone. and This heating also occurs while shooting videos for more than 5-6 mins and makes the phone laggy. 3. LeEco Cool1 Dual:
LeEco, which made his debut in Indian Smartphone market this year, has done a very excellent job with there Le1s. It’s now out of stock & the successor Le2 is not meant for our Top 5 list just because of there quality issue FEATURE. So we are adding the phone which is made by the collaboration of Le Eco & Coolpad, LeEco Cool1 Dual. This Cool1 was announced back in August and yesterday it made his entry in India. For the Price of ₹13,999 it offers some very decent specs like Snapdragon 652 processor, Dual Rear Cameras & 4000mah battery. It will go on sale exclusively on Amazon India on 5th January 2017, yes it’s sales are starting in 2017 but it was announced both globally & in India in 2016. 4. Redmi 3s/3s Prime:
Xiaomi launched another budget phone this year that comes in two variants, Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime. It’s the successor of last year’s best budget phone ‘Redmi 2 Prime’. This Redmi 3s/3s prime also started a new trend with giving metal unibody design, huge 4100mah battery and also a fingerprint sensor. This phone comes in 2 variants, 3s and 3s prime. There’s difference of storage and the fingerprint sensor is only available on the prime variant. Redmi 3s is priced at Rs.6999 and Redmi 3s Prime at ₹8,999.

5. Lenovo K6 Power:
Lenovo launched various phones this year, but the most value for money phone is ‘K6 Power’. This is a multimedia centric phone with 5″ Full HD display, Dolby Atmos speakers, 4000mah battery and Lenovo’s own Theatermax technology that splits this phone’s screen into 2 different parts for the VR experience. With Lenovo’s software optimization, they have managed to take full potentials of the budget processor Snapdragon 430. This phone is priced at ₹9,999 and exclusively available at Flipkart.
