This year Xiaomi Mi6 was launched which come with latest Android 7.1.1 out of the box. When people have heard about this, everyone were expecting some new Android Nougat features in the phone, but sadly there’s no difference between a marshmallow running Xiaomi phone & Mi6. Now this happens due to the heavily skinned Miui, which covers whole smartphone with Xiaomi’s own feel. So for Mi6 & those phones who will get Nougat, the next version of Miui is necessary to fee some changes in the phone. And seems like the time for Miui 9 leaks are here. So let’s have a look at some Miui 9 leaks.
The 1st leak is from Mi India Twitter handle. They posted an image which shows a WhatsApp message saying “Let’s connect better”. Apart from that if you notice on the date below the message, time for the message is 08:16 , but seems like it’s more than just a time. Some rumours & guesses are there that Miui 9 will be unveiled on 16th of August i.e. next month. Also if this is going to be true, than there are chances that Xiaomi will launch MIUI 9 in India.
Now coming to 2nd leak, actually leaks would be better. Someone from Xiaomi on Miui official forum has confirmed that Miui 9 is going to launch on 16th of August, same as what teased in the above leak. He mentioned that as this news is true & Miui 9 will launch on 16th August, but Xiaomi will make an official statement about this in coming days.
He also shared some screenshots of Miui 9. As you can see from the image above, you will notice some design changes in the icons. The person from Xiaomi mentioned that this photo is just for a suggestion that do you like this theme on Miui 9 or not ? So don’t expect this one as final UI.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. As there’s more than a month for the official launch, expect some more leaks regarding the Miui 9. Untill then, stay tuned with us for more information.
