Foosball is awesome. It doesn’t require motors, or electricity, and it has one of the coolest, if not THE coolest, gameplay environments of all the table games. Seriously, it’s like a mini soccer pitch in a box.
Unless you have a foosball table at home, or are lucky enough your local pub keeps one in the back, though, it can be tough to find a game when you want to play. Though nothing compares to the feel of the rods in your hand, or the flick of your wrist as you shoot through your opponent’s defensive line, when you’re up for a game of foosball, but can’t find a friend to play with or a table to play on, try one of these online foosball games that are almost as cool as the real thing.

Foosball
The name is basic, because the play doesn’t try to fancy things up any. It’s just like looking down at a regular foosball table, though you control the rods/players with your keyboard. The best thing about this game is the graphics are vivid and the men are big, making it easy to see what’s happening on the screen. The worst thing about the game are the keyboard controls. When you play against the computer, you use the “W” and “S” keys, instead of the arrow keys. It feels less natural than using the arrows.
Dual player? Yes, but must play on the same computer/keyboard. Player 2 gets to use the arrows!
Play at: Primary Games
Bonus: It’s optimized for iPhone, iPad and iPod.

The Ultimate World Cup Foosball Edition
The patriot’s dream. Choose from 40 teams, maybe even your home country. You can also choose one of four player configurations, and the configuration screen includes explanations of how each configuration benefits you. The best thing about this game is the power of the kicks. It’s easier to get the ball down-pitch. The worst thing about the game is the graphics aren’t quite as bold as the Foosball game above.
Dual player? Yes, but on the same computer/keyboard.
Play at: Silver Games
Bonus: Player 1 uses the arrows to control the rods when playing against the computer.

Premiere League Foosball
Is your favorite football/soccer team from England? You’re in luck. In Premiere League Foosball, you can play as any team in the Premier League, including Arsenal or Manchester United. Two player configurations are also available to give you just a little customization of the game. The best thing about this game is playing as your favorite team. The worst thing about this game is the vertical layout, which makes it a little more like playing regular football than foosball.
Dual player? Yes, but on the same computer/keyboard.

Foosball: World Tour
If you get tired of playing the same online foosball game over and over, Foosball: World Tour is your answer. Unlike the other games on this list, which have one table, this game has nine different foosball tables on which to play, and other customization options that give you more variety in your play. The best thing about this game is its stellar graphics. The worst thing about this game is it costs money.
Dual player? Yes, both online multiplayer and up to four players on one computer.
Play at: Steam

Streets Table Soccer
The game that is promotional in nature, and the least like real foosball, may just be your kid’s favorite online foosball game. Play as a Cyclone Popsicle or a Triple Choc Crunch ice cream bar (no, I’m not kidding), and try to beat the other summery treat to foosball victory. The best thing about this game is the fun graphics when you score. The worst thing about the game is that, like Premiere League Foosball, it has a vertical layout, which makes it less like playing real foosball.
Dual player? No.
