Nokia Android smartphones were recently launched in India under the brand name of HMD Global. At first, the company has announced their three Android smartphones earlier this month, out of them Nokia 3 is said to be the cheapest among the three and a bit costlier than its rivals. Will it sustain? Let’s get a quick report on Nokia 3.
Nokia 3
Nokia 3 sports a 5-inch HD 720P display with Gorilla glass on top and the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek 6737 SoC coupled with a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB. The smartphone runs on Android N, aIt hasan8MP rear shooter and 8MP front shooter with F2.0 aperture.Nokia 3 gets a 2650 mAh powerhouse.
HMD Global is giving out stock Android experience on all of its new smartphones. The company has also promised it will bring Android O update for the phones, once that rolls out officially.
Nokia 3 also features USB OTG support sensors like Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE connectivity. The phone is available in four color options like Black, Silver White, Tempered Blue and Copper White.
Offline Exclusive
Croma, the offline retailer, has listed the new Nokia 3 on its online site. The users can get the new phone without actually visiting the store. The smartphone is Priced at Rs. 9,499, the Nokia 3 is available to buy via online channels as well, though not officially announced.
The Nokia 5 will be up for pre-orders starting July 7 via offline stores, priced at Rs. 12,899. Nokia 6 is an online exclusive and will go on sale on Amazon India towards the end of July with pre-bookings starting from July 14. the Nokia 3310 was also available via Croma’s online store.
HMD global has initially announced that all of its smartphones will be launched by June, but there seems to be a delay and extended upto July, but If Gst comes by July there will be reduced at the price of smartphones for sure.
Consequences
The Nokia 3 has different appeal the smartphone gives out pure Android experience and aimed at people who just want a smartphone the UI is fluid, smooth and receives timely updates and is hassle-free. It holds decent camera setup with best in the class built.
The important fact that it is available offline as well as online so there is no irritating flash sales (my opinion-I know flash sales depends upon certain characteristics like brand value, availability, and publicity, but I always get irritated as people longing to book the smartphone in browsers and online apps leaving their precious works) and people get a chance of hands on experience with lot of time by offline purchase.
The negative is at this price tag other rivals get Snapdragon budget SoC under its hood with some bulky Battery units, but Nokia opts to give inferior SoC with 2650mAh @ 10k budget price tag, but battery draining depends upon processor and usage, we should not decide the performance until we get it hands on, overall The Nokia 3 looks to be a strong budget package, this could really shake up the market with competitors like Lenovo, Motorola, and Xiaomi.
