It was reported that HMD Global had discontinued all Nokia-branded smartphones but now we got a new piece of information from PTI reveals that Nokia has agreed to extend its licensing deal with HMD Global for several more years. While HMD Global will not be selling Nokia-branded smartphones and it will continue offering Nokia feature phones.
The sources familiar with the matter have also said that the extension will take the arrangement beyond the original expiry date of 2026. According to the latest information, HMD Global will be making Nokia feature phones in India and China.
