Over the past 2 years, whenever we look for a budget or entry level smartphone, only 2 names come in mind: Xiaomi & Lenovo. We you recall, approximately 2-2.5 years ago a company named as InFocus launched some of their smartphones in India which got failed. Now today the company launched another phone of budget segment in India, InFocus Turbo 5. Only plus point about this device is battery capacity. But let’s also have a look at other specs of the phone.
This InFocus Turbo 5 packs a MediaTek MT6737 quad core processor clocked with Mali-T720 MP1 GPU. It sports a 5.2” 720p HD display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It has 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage respectively, both variant comes with MicroSd Card slot upto 32GB. The phone comes with 13MP Rear Camera with f2.2 lens & LED flash, on the front it has 5MP shooter with same f2.2 lens. It runs on Android 7.0 nougat out of the box. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back, below the Rear Camera. It has all basic connectivity options like 4G LTE, VoLTE, hybrid dual SIM support, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Now coming to the USP of this phone, it packs a massive 5000mAh battery, no information about fast charging support, but don’t expect that all given the price. But it does support reverse charging to charge up other devices like phones with small batteries, Bluetooth earphones, etc.
This phone comes in 2 Gold colour variants : Pure Gold & Mocha Gold. Below are the information regarding pricing & availability :
- 2GB RAM variant is priced at INR 6,999 while the 3GB RAM variant is priced at INR 7,999 .
- It will be available exclusively on Amazon India from 4th July i.e. coming Tuesday.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. In my personal opinion, don’t look at this phone as there are better options available in this price range like Redmi 4 and Moto C/C Plus. Stay tuned with us for more information.
