Tecno has officially introduced its new entry level smartphone in the market of India dubbed the Tecno Pop 8 and the device comes with pretty decent specifications and design language. The newly announced Tecno Pop 8 smartphone features a 6.56” display with HD+ resolution and Dot-in design on the top of the screen. It will also show the important notifications just like the dynamic Island feature which we can find on the Apple iPhone Pro models. The device comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and the device has the Splash Resistant rating as well.
It comes with an 8MP AI selfie camera with ƒ/2.0 aperture while the back panel of the device features a 12MP dual AI rear camera with ƒ/1.85 aperture. The smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T606 Octa Core processor along with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and the device comes with 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be expandable up to 1 TB using a Micro SD card.
The device houses a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery and it is said to offer 38 days of standby time. The device runs on HiOS 13.0, based on Android 13-Go. The latest Tecno Pop 8 features dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS for connectivity. The device features dual stereo speakers with DTS technology for an immersive audio experience, and the device also features a fingerprint scanner.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Tecno Pop 8 smartphone has a price tag of ₹6,499 but it will be available for a special price tag of ₹5,999, the device will be available via Amazon India from January 9.
