TECNO has officially introduced its new phone dubbed the TECNO Pova 8 5G with a huge 8,000mAh battery along with the new Android 16 operating system and a 144Hz refresh rate. The newly announced TECNO Pova 8 5G comes with a 6.76-inch FHD+ IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and up to 950 nits of peak brightness in High Brightness Mode. The device also features a screen-to-body ratio of 91.29 percent and a 1080 x 2344 pixels resolution.
It has the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 mobile processor along with 6GB / 8GB of RAM, up to 8GB of virtual RAM, and it also comes with up to 256GB of internal storage.
Speaking about the camera department, the TECNO Pova 8 5G smartphone comes with a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 600 main camera alongside a light sensor, while the front houses a 13-megapixel selfie camera. The device can record videos at up to 2K resolution at 30fps from both the front and rear cameras.
The device comes with a huge 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The device also comes with the rear-facing round-shaped Alive Matrix Display, which transforms the rear panel into an interactive visual interface. It will be reacting in real time to music playback, notifications and user interactions. It also comes with support for around 30 widgets as well.
It also comes with an IP64 dust and water resistance along with MIL-STD-810H certification, a 14,689mm² cooling system, and AI noise reduction. The device runs on Android 16 with HiOS 16 out of the box.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest TECNO Pova 8 5G is available in 16 Bit White and Terminal Green colour options. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 29,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 31,999. It will be available from June 18 through Flipkart.
