The popular instant messaging application WhatsApp is reportedly planning to bring new chat theme categories and wallpapers. The new features are said to be introduced on the Android platform.
It is reported that the company is gearing up to roll out the features to Android Beta users. The new features will enable more ways to customise the look of conversations.
The report says that the developers of WhatsApp will be introducing five chat theme categories, including Nature, Live, Minimal, and Doodle, along with separate categories for wallpapers. The Live section may offer animated wallpapers with slow-moving backgrounds.
Having said that, WhatsApp is also expected to automatically select a chat bubble colour based on the chosen theme and wallpaper. We need to wait for more details and the developers of WhatsApp are expected to bring the features in the stable version soon.
