Bringing new features and nothing new for the developers of WhatsApp and now the instant messaging application is now making things easy to manage communities. We know that managing communities on WhatsApp isn’t easy, especially when a community has multiple sub-groups and hundreds of members. To tackle this problem, the developers of WhatsApp are reportedly testing a new feature dubbed organisations.
It is reported that WhatsApp is currently testing a new feature dubbed the “Organizations” and the new feature has been discovered in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.26.43.1 update, and the update is available on the Google Play Store.
The new feature will enable admins to manage large communities and it is revealed that the upcoming Organization is a dedicated space that shows the organization name and a description. Admins can able to see the total number of members along with the ability to view the complete member list. Once admins tap “View all” option, the messaging application will offer the complete member list and which sub-groups they belong to.
It is worth mentioning that Organizations and Communities are two different features. For those who are not aware, the community is a structure that brings related groups together, where members can join sub-groups and receive announcements from its admins. On the other hand, an Organization is a layer on top of the community; it is actually a management tool for admins.
