Philips 5000 Series Wi-Fi Palm Recognition Smart Deadbolt is officially announced at the CES 2024 event and the device features palm sensing technology that will enable you to unlock your door with your palm close to the deadbolt.
The new security gadget of Philips is compatible with the Philips Home Access app and you can use the application to control the gadget remotely. The device also supports smart home assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa.
Philips security device will work with the touch-free palm reading system and the same will enable you to easily unlock the door by simply closing your palm to the device and it will automatically detect the unique palm vein patterns using built-in proximity sensors. The device will be available in the market of the United States later in the year for a price tag of $360.
