The popular chipset maker MediaTek is gearing up to launch its new mobile processor later this year dubbed the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 mobile processor and the top most executive of the company has mentioned about the chipset during a speech in their new office building.
It is confirmed that the chipset will be official in the 4th quarter of this year and it is said that it will be coming with improved AI capabilities. We don’t have any other information about the processor from the official side.
But it is reported that the upcoming mobile processor will be based on the TSMC’s 3nm process and it will come with the custom Oryon CPU cores along with Arm’s CPU designs and will upgrade to the Cortex-X5 for its main core. The upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9400 mobile processor will also come with three Cortex-X4 and four Cortex-A720 performance cores.
