Along with the latest and greatest Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship processor, the company has introduced another chipset dubbed the Dimensity 9600M. This processor will be powering the vanilla variant of the upcoming Vivo X500 series and it is the Vivo X500. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.

The processor features an all-large-core CPU, and it comes with TSMC 3nm N3P process. The chipset comes with one C1-Ultra core running at 4.21GHz with 2MB of L2 cache, three C1-Premium cores at 3.5GHz with 1MB of L2 cache each, and four C1-Pro cores at 2.7GHz with 512KB each. The processor also features 16MB of L3 cache and 10MB of system cache. It is worth mentioning that this is the same configuration as the Dimensity 9500 mobile processor.
It also comes with the Arm Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 for the graphical task and the NPU responsibility is at NPU 990, including the compute-in-memory efficiency core. It comes with LPDDR5X at 10667MHz and 4-lane UFS 4.1.
The processor also features a 320MP sensor and 8K60, 4K120 with EIS, and 4K60 cinematic video capture. It comes with the upgraded Dimensity Scheduling Engine and the processor has the version 3.0. The latest processor can offer frame rates of up to 185fps with neural network rendering. The NPU of the processor now supports Gemini Nano 4 and Qwen 3.5 Omni 4B.
