The Mountain View company Google is gearing up to launch a new smartphone dubbed the Google Pixel 8a and the same is the affordable offering of the company. It will be official during the Google Developer Conference event in the month of May this year.
Before the official launch of the device, the company has secured an important certification for the upcoming Google Pixel 8a smartphone. The device actually passed through the Bluetooth SIG platform and the same reveals that the device will come with the support of Bluetooth 5.3.
Based on the previous information, the upcoming Google Pixel 8a smartphone will be coming with a 6.1-inch OLED panel with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will offer a peak brightness of 1400 nits and the same will come with DisplayPort output.
It is also reported that the upcoming Google Pixel 8a will feature a dual rear camera setup that is in the combination of a 64MP Sony IMX787 primary camera with a sensor size of 1/1.73-inch, f/1.89 aperture, and a 13MP Sony IMX712 ultrawide camera. The device will be coming with a 13MP Sony IMX712 selfie camera.
The upcoming Google Pixel 8a will be powered by the Google Tensor G3 mobile processor with a Titan M2 security chip. The device will also come with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will be featuring the optical in-display fingerprint scanner. The device will run on the Android 14 operating system out of the box.
