Xiaomi has officially introduced its new climate tracking device in the markets of China dubbed the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Temperature and Humidity Sensor 3 Mini. The device is compact and it is available for crowdfunding on Xiaomi Mall and Xiaomi Youpin, with the campaign starting on February 19. The device is suggested to come with a price tag of 34.9 yuan and it will be getting with a discounted 29.9 yuan. It is worth mentioning that the discounted price is meant for the camping only. It is a compact as well as lightweight device and the device comes with a 2.1-inch LCD screen with a slimmer 5.1mm bezel. The device features 0.1°C accuracy for temperature and 1%RH precision for humidity and it can offer information in real-time data and the device will automatically refresh in every six seconds.
The device can be connected with Xiaomi’s smart home ecosystem through Bluetooth Mesh and it has the capability to connect with a Mijia Bluetooth gateway to automate home appliances via the Mijia app. The device also supports voice control via Xiao Ai, and it has a CR2450 button battery that offers up to three years of battery life in long-lasting mode or two years in standard mode.
It also comes with a visually pleasing indicator and the company has used emoji symbols. The device will show a smiley face when the conditions are ideal, while a frowning face signals discomfort.
