The company is expected to release the new One UI 8.0 in summer 2025 and the Advanced Protection Program (APP) consolidates features including Remote Lock and Theft Detection Lock, requiring user credentials to disable, ensuring robust defense against unauthorized access. This will be available in third-party apps in the future and the features are currently available in Google applications.
