TECNO has officially announced its groundbreaking slim devices dubbed the TECNO SPARK Slim & TECNO POVA Slim at the IFA 2025 event. The latest TECNO SPARK Slim is a 4G phone and it comes with a 5.93mm profile, while the TECNO POVA Slim is a 5G-enabled device, and the same comes at a 5.95mm profile.
Both devices rank among the world’s thinnest smartphones with 3D-curved AMOLED displays. The devices also come with a 5160mAh battery, along with 45W fast charging, and the devices feature military-grade durability certification.
To introduce slim devices, the company has re-engineered eight core modules, including the battery, speaker, SIM slot, and charging connector. The company has also used a 0.36mm aerospace-grade fiberglass back cover. The devices feature Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the display along with an IP64 rating and the devices are certified Military-Grade Shock Resistant. The devices also feature the advanced cooling system with a vapor chamber and graphite layers.
The 4G variant has the power of the Helio G200 mobile processor and the 5G model is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. Both devices feature curved AMOLED displays with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. The devices come with a Mood Light design with two circular “eyes” on the back. It will be offering light animations during calls, charging, or notifications. The devices also feature TECNO AI features, including real-time translation, AI-powered writing tools, Circle-to-Search, and the Ella AI assistant. The devices support multifunctional NFC and they run on Android 15 with HiOS. The devices also support FreeLink connectivity.
