The devices come with the power of Amazon’s AZ3 and AZ3 Pro chips. The Amazon Echo Dot Max features AZ3 and the same improves wake-word detection by 50 percent, filters background noise, and powers Amazon’s best microphone array yet. While the Amazon Echo Studio, Echo Show 8, and Echo Show 11 will come with the AZ3 Pro and the same supports advanced language models and vision transformers for smarter, faster responses. The series also features Omnisense, a sensor system that uses a 13-megapixel camera, audio, radar, accelerometers, and Wi-Fi signals to detect events in the home.
In the devices, Alexa can be able to act proactively, such as reminding someone when a specific person walks in the room or alerting if the garage door is left open after 10 p.m. The Amazon Echo Dot Max features a redesigned audio system with two speakers including a high-excursion woofer and a custom tweeter.
The speaker module is built into the housing for fuller bass. The new Amazon Echo Studio is 40 percent smaller than the original along with a high-excursion woofer with three full-range drivers. It supports spatial audio and Dolby Atmos. You can able to pair up to five Echo Dot Max or Echo Studio units with Fire TV sticks to create an Alexa Home Theater system.
