In the early days of this year, Amazon provided its Alexa+ AI chatbot to everyone in the US, with Prime subscribers getting unlimited access to it for free. Now the company has expanded availability of the service without any additional cost to selected users.
It is announced that the service will be available for free to those who have a compatible Fire TV device. The compatible devices including all current-generation Amazon Fire TV Sticks, the Fire TV Cube, Amazon Ember Smart TVs, and other smart TVs “by trusted brands with Alexa+ built-in” (including Hisense and Panasonic). The service can be used on the devices even without the Prime membership.
The above mentioned devices will be automatically upgraded to the Alexa+ experience even without any action, no download, and no subscription to activate. Moreover, the Amazon Prime subscribers will get the service on compatible Echo devices and additional Alexa+ features on your Fire TV device(s), including Alexa Routines, access to specific Ring camera moments, and advanced Home Modes to automate your household’s smart devices.
