The smart TV series includes 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, or 85-inch models, and a larger 98-inch model. It has the power of Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR along with the company’s in-house True RGB LED technology. The pricing of the TV series starts at Rs. 2,21,990 (MRP 3,59,900), and it will be available through Sony retail stores, the ShopatSC portal, e-commerce platforms and other outlets. It is worth mentioning that the 98 inch variant of the TV series will be available by the end of next month.
Speaking about the specifications, the latest Sony Bravia 7II series features the company’s first True RGB LED technology, which uses red, green, and blue LEDs for colour accuracy and brightness. It also supports Sony’s RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro system that will be offering local dimming, reduced blooming and enhanced contrast. The TV series also features Sony’s RGB Triluminos Max technology as well.
On 65-inch and above has X-Wide Angle Pro feature that will be maintaining consistent colour and contrast. The latest Sony Bravia 7II has the power of Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR. It also comes with XR Contrast Booster 20 and the company’s XR Clear Image technology. The TV series also features XR Motion Clarity for handling motion in fast-paced content.
The Sony Bravia 7II TV also comes with Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG, and IMAX Enhanced formats. It also features Studio Calibrated Modes for Netflix, Prime Video, and Sony Pictures Core. The 65 inch variant and above also supports Acoustic Multi-Audio+ and the TV series comes with Voice Zoom 3 with AI Sound Separation. It also supports 3D Surround Upscaling for transforming standard audio into a 5.1.4 channel virtual surround experience. The latest Sony Bravia 7II TV supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X sound technologies as well.
Sony has introduced the new Sony Bravia 7II TV with Google TV and you can use the device through voice commands through Google Assistant. The TV series also supports Apple AirPlay 2, Apple HomeKit, Google Cast, and Alexa-enabled devices. It is also confirmed that Gemini for Google TV will be available through an update soon.
In terms of connectivity, the new Sony Bravia 7II TV also supports HDMI 2.1 connectivity, at up to 4K/ 120Hz, variable refresh rate (VRR), and auto-low-latency mode (ALLM).
