The Mountain View company Google is expected to introduce a new operating system and the same will be based on desktop and today the guys at Android Authority have revealed a very important piece of information about the upcoming operating system.
It is said that the company is working on the upcoming Android based desktop operating system and internally called as Aluminium OS. Google is working on the new project in collaboration with the very popular chipset maker Qualcomm as well.
With the upcoming project, Google is targeting to offer a desktop experience with the Android Operating System. It is expected that the upcoming operating system will be running on desktops along with the laptops, 2 in 1 devices, and even tablets. It is also expected that the ChromeOS powered devices will be upgraded to the upcoming Aluminium OS.
The major focus of the upcoming operating system is artificial intelligence and Google will be offering CoPilot in the upcoming operating system and this will be a strong answer to the Microsoft’s game of PC.
We don’t have any other details about the matter at the moment of time but we believe to hear more about the same in the coming days and Google is expected to introduce the upcoming Aluminium OS at the upcoming Google I/O 2026 event.
