According to the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Honor flagship powered by a next-generation 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series processor will be coming with strong camera capabilities. It is said that the latest engineering prototype is reportedly testing two different 200-megapixel main camera sensors — a 1/1.28-inch unit and a larger 1/1.12-inch sensor.
It is also reported that the device will be coming with a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor. It was previously reported that the upcoming Magic 9 series will feature ARRI-powered imaging capabilities.
The latest leak also suggests that the upcoming Honor Magic 9 Pro Max will be coming with features including an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, 3D facial recognition, flagship-grade stereo speakers, high-level water resistance, and a potentially upgraded X-axis vibration motor.
It is also expected that the device will come with a 6.8x-inch flat OLED panel with support for a 1.5K resolution and LIPO technology. The upcoming device is also expected to come with a massive 8,000mAh battery and the device will run on MagicOS 11-based Android 17 out of the box.
