The very popular Chinese brand ZTE has officially introduced a new 5G router in the markets of China, and the device is dubbed the ZTE G5 Pro 5G AI CPE with Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, among others. The device comes with a price tag of 2,099 yuan, and it is currently available in China.

The newly announced ZTE G5 Pro 5G AI CPE router comes with the support of Wi-Fi 7 connectivity with the power of Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technology to combine multiple frequency bands, which will offer a more consistent connection. The device is said to offer peak download speeds of 4.29 Gbps, and it also features 4K QAM modulation. The device features dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies with 4×4 MIMO on both.
It also comes with two 2.5G Ethernet ports with WAN/LAN auto-adaptive functionality. This 50 router also comes with the support of dual-network standby, along with a built-in ZTE data SIM card. The device also supports a wide range of 5G NR, 4G LTE, and WCDMA bands.
The device features the 923-gram cylindrical tower, and it has the power of an unnamed 4nm quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The device also features a 13dBi high-gain antenna system, and it is said to improve average speeds in weak-signal areas by up to 40%.
ZTE has introduced the latest ZTE G5 Pro 5G AI CPE with built-in acceleration services from NetEase UU and China Mobile to help lower latency. The device also comes with a suite of standard AI-branded network management tools for bandwidth allocation, scene recognition, and parental controls, all manageable via the ZTE Smart Life app.
The device also features an NFC tap-to-connect feature for compatible Android phones, and the newly announced router is capable of managing up to 256 connected devices at once.
