The latest processor is built on a 4nm process and the Dimensity 7500 features an octa-core CPU based on the latest Armv9.3-A architecture, including four Arm C1 Pro cores clocked at up to 2.6GHz and four Arm C1 Nano cores running at up to 2.0GHz. It is said that the processor can offer faster app switching, quicker file transfers, reduced game loading times, and improved app launch performance compared to the previous generation. It is also coming with improved power efficiency across apps and games.
It is coming with upgraded AI processing with the new NPU 850 and the processor supports multiple on-device AI features including speech recognition, contextual replies, notification summaries, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech processing.
The newly announced Dimensity 7500 also features MediaTek HyperEngine technology and Adaptive Gaming Technology 4.0. It also supports displays with resolutions up to 1344 x 2800 at 144Hz, along with support for secondary displays at up to 120Hz. The processor supports up to 200-megapixel sensors along with the Imagiq 1050 image processor that can manage features including hardware-based noise reduction and improved low-light imaging.
It also supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 3GPP Release 17 5G modem with download speeds reaching up to 5.2Gbps. It also supports long-range Bluetooth for direct phone-to-phone connections over extended distances without mobile networks. The processor also comes with improved 5G recovery in subway or garage environments and better connectivity performance during high-speed train travel.
