The latest Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra comes with a 15-inch mini-LED PixelSense Ultra touchscreen along with peak HDR brightness of 2000 nits, and a pixel density of 262ppi. It is said that the device has the brightest display in Microsoft’s portfolio. The device also comes with the largest trackpad ever on a Surface.
Speaking about the ports, the latest Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra comes with HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, an SD card slot, and a headphone jack. The device has the power of the Nvidia RTX Spark along with up to 128GB of unified memory, and the device runs on Windows 11. The company has also improved the way Windows handles memory page sizes on unified memory systems.
Microsoft has collaborated with NVIDIA for the Microsoft Power and Thermal Framework (MPTF), and the same is developed to squeeze out better performance per watt and it will keep the machine cool even when it’s working hard.
The company has also said that the very popular creative applications like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Blender, DaVinci Resolve, Cinema4D, Redshift, Topaz Photo, CapCut, Cubase, and Affinity by Canva all run natively on ARM and have been specifically optimized for RTX Spark. It is also announced that Microsoft’s Prism emulator now supports RTX Spark’s GPU as well.
It is currently supporting games including League of Legends, Valorant, and PUBG, which are confirmed to be coming to the platform, alongside Alan Wake 2, Naraka: Bladepoint, War Thunder, and the list will be growing over time.
