Motorola has officially introduced a new smartphone in India called the Moto Edge 70 Pro Plus with 50x zoom, wireless charging, and Dimensity 8500 Extreme mobile processor. The latest Moto Edge 70 Pro Plus comes with a 6.8-inch Super HD+ Extreme AMOLED display with 2772 x 1272 pixels resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and up to 5,200 nits peak brightness. The device also features a quad-curved panel along with Pantone validation, SGS eye-care certification, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

It has the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme mobile processor, along with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. The Motorola device runs on the latest Android 16 operating system out of the box. The device is promised to receive 3 years of software updates and 5 years of security updates.
Speaking about the camera department, Motorola has introduced the new Moto Edge 70 Pro Plus with a quad 50-megapixel camera system. The device includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom and up to 50x Super Zoom Pro, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with macro capabilities, and the device also features a 50-megapixel autofocus front camera. The camera department of the device supports 4K 60fps video recording and it also supports several AI-assisted imaging features.
The device houses a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse charging. The device also features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP68 and IP69 ratings, MIL-STD-810H durability certification, and Moto AI 2.0 features.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the device has a price tag of Rs 47,999 and it is available with a Rs 3,000 bank discount or exchange benefits. It will be available from June 11 via Flipkart, Motorola India’s website, and leading retail outlets.
