The popular chipsets maker MediaTek is working on the next generation Dimensity 9600 Pro mobile processor and today we got a new piece of information that says it will come with an increased pricing compared to the previous generation. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.
According to supply chain chatter, the upcoming processor is expected to come with a price tag around $216 and it is around 8% to 20% increase compared to the Dimensity 9500.
The chipset is expected to come with TSMC’s advanced N2P (2nm-class) process and the same will support faster LPDDR6 memory. It is also tipped to feature an aggressive 2+3+3 octa-core setup including two ultra-high-performance ARM Cortex C2-Ultra cores (pushing close to 5GHz), three C2-Premium cores, and three C2-Pro cores. It is also expected to support UFS 5.0 storage, an upgraded Arm “Magni” GPU, and better AI capabilities.
