Redmi has already confirmed to launch the new Redmi Note 17 series on July 14 in China and today the important specifications related of the Pro variant have been confirmed. The upcoming Redmi Note 17 Pro is confirmed to come with a massive 9,000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery and the battery of the device has received TÜV SÜD’s five-star multidimensional battery quality certification. The device will support 67W wired fast charging along with 22.5W wired reverse charging.
It is also confirmed that the device will feature a complimentary five-year battery upgrade programme for customers who purchase the device during its first sale. If the battery health drops below 80 percent within the first four years, then the company will be replacing the battery without any additional cost.
Redmi has also confirmed that the upcoming Redmi Note 17 Pro has a flat display along with a 1.5K resolution and 3500 nits of brightness under sunlight. The phone features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and the device has passed SGS and CQC dual five-star drop resistance certifications after surviving a 3-metre marble drop test. The device will also come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, along with TÜV SÜD certification for surviving 2 metres underwater for up to 72 hours.
