The upcoming iQOO 16 will be launched in China next week and before that, the company has revealed the camera specifications of the device. So let’s get into that article to check out the full details.
It is revealed that the upcoming iQOO 16 flagship smartphone will come with a 50-megapixel main camera with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor and the new sensor is claimed to capture 79% more light. The device will also come with the brand’s own Super HDR imaging technology and NICE 3.0 optical reconstruction engine.
The camera system of the device will also support CIPA 5.5-rated stabilization that is meant to reduce the impact of hand movement when capturing photos and videos.
It was previously reported by the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station that the device will come with an OV50Q 50-megapixel primary sensor, while the main camera is expected to be joined by a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The device is believed to come with a 6.85-inch Samsung M16 AMOLED panel along with a 2K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The device will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset.
iQOO is also reported to launch the upcoming iQOO 16 smartphone with the power of a large 8,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device will run on Android 17 with OriginOS 7 out of the box. The device will be available with 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB storage options.
The device will also come with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance. It will be available in multiple color options including Chasing Light, Racing Track, and Legend.
