Whatsapp is rolling out an update which features group Audio/Video calls with up to four people.
Facebook has announced during the F8 developer conference that Whatsapp will add future supports to group Audio and Video calls, and a couple of days ago, the company started to test the feature on the beta version. Now Whatsapp is rolling out the update steadily to Android users. Group Audio and Video call features are limited to four members, So when you would like to add a member to group video or Audio call you can just tap the contact icon on the top right and simply add the person who you would like to be in group Audio or Video call.
On the receiver end, if you have received an invite for group call from a member, then you can see an avatar along with the name or the number of the contact. Then you can able to accept the call.
At this time we are unable to decide whether each and every Whatsapp users since it is server side roll out rather than rollout based on App version. But we expect that the rollout will cover the majority of WhatsApp users. Have you got a chance to notice the new roll out? If yes, please do let us know in the below comments section.
