The smartphone brand has officially announced the launching date of the device in the Indian market on its Twitter handle, and the device will be launched on February 28. Having said that, the company hasn’t mentioned anything about the pricing details of the device. However, we expect that the company will launch the device in the Indian market below ₹15,000.

Specification of Redmi Note 7
The Redmi Note 7 sports 6.3 inch full HD+ display and has 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution along with 2.5D curved glass design. The device is coming with a waterdrop like notch on the top of the display. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset and the device is paired with 3 GB, 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device has two storage variants – you will get 3 GB RAM with 32 GB of storage and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via microSD card.
The main highlight of the device is its camera department, the device is coming with the dual camera set up at the back and that is in the combination of 48 megapixel + 5 megapixel. The primary lens is developed by Samsung, its called GM1 and it’s a massive 1.6 micron size sensor, the largest yet for a smartphone camera. The company claims that the pictures taken on this are poster-level HD photos for printing use. The device also has a 13 megapixel front facing camera for the selfies and video calls. The device also comes with the fingerprint scanner as well as face unlock feature to give the additional layer of security to the users. Having said that, the device rocks USB Type-C port but it didn’t get rid of the 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Regarding the connectivity options, the device 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port, and 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device runs on MIUI 10 which is based on Android 9.0 and ships on 4,000 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging technology.
