Recently, the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo introduced its new sub-brand called iQOO and the company launched its new first smartphone in the early days of this month. Well, now it’s the turn of Vivo’s sibling and that is Oppo, as today Oppo has announced its new sub-brand and that will be dubbed as Reno, the company has also confirmed to launch its first smartphone on April 10.
Brian Shen, Oppo’s Vice President, has shared the logo of the sub-brand Reno on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. Speaking about the Reno logo, it’s very colourful and that suggests upcoming devices under this brand would be stylish and attractive and the company is planning to attract the young generation.
There’s no much information about the upcoming Reno smartphones but confirmed that the first device under the new Reno sub-brand will be launched on April 10 in the market China.
Having said that, this is not the first time Oppo introducing a sub-brand. Back in last year, the company introduced Realme in the Indian smartphone market and the brand came with the stylish device with aggressive pricing but later in July, the company announced that Realme is separating with Oppo and it will work as an independent smartphone brand. Well, now Oppo may be looking the similar strategy in the market of China as well with the new sub-brand.
