Well, now the device is officially announced and the company puts the slogan as ‘Monster Inside’ and the company has developed the device according to the slogan. The first smartphone of Vivo’s sub-brand is coming with the sleek design, and the smartphone has a vertical LED strip that runs in the center at the rear side. Furthermore, the device has covered with a 3D glass and gives a premium look.
Specifications of iQOO Smartphone
Before I explain the specification details of the device, let me say that it is a gaming smartphone and it is packed with all the monster specifications which a gamer would dream to have. The iQOO Smartphone sports a 6.41 inch Super AMOLED display along with the waterdrop-like notch on the top of the display. The device is powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and paired with 12 GB of RAM along with 256 GB of internal storage, the device also has few more variants which comes with 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage, 8 GB RAM with 128 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
The device also features the “super liquid cooling” which brings a vapor chamber, and this will not allow to heat the smartphone. There are also plenty of features to boost performance, such as AI Turbo, Center Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, and Game Turbo, neatly wrapped in one service called Multi-Turbo. And that will boost app startup by 30%, frame rate with over 70%, and automatic switch between Wi-Fi and 4G for the non-stop gaming. Cool isn’t?
Moving to the photography department, the iQOO Smartphone rocks triple rear cameras and that’s in the combination of 13 MP wide-angle lens and Sony IMX263 sensor, a main 12 MP shooter with vivo’s own dual-pixel technology and a 2 MP depth sensor. Along with 12 MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The device also supports the in-display fingerprint scanner to give the maximum layer of security to the users.
Regarding the connectivity options, the iQOO Smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
iQOO Smartphone runs on FunTouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie, and the smartphone ships on 4,000 mAh battery and supports Vivo’s 44W SuperFlash charging technology, claims to fully charge the device in 45 minutes. That said, this feature is not supported on the 6 RAM and 128GB storage variant.
Pricing and availability of iQOO Smartphone
The pricing starts at 2,998 yuan (approx. ₹31,700) for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage variant will cost 3298 yuan (approx. ₹34,900). The 256 GB storage variant, which is paired with 8 GB RAM is priced at 3598 yuan (approx. ₹38,000), and the 12GB RAM with 256 GB variant will cost 4298 yuan (approx. ₹45,500). The device can be pre-order and it will be available from March 6 in the Chinese market and there is no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
