Back in May, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi unveiled the K-series smartphones and that includes the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro. Well, now the company has confirmed that the K20 will get a successor very soon.
Lu Weibing, general manager of the brand has confirmed the Redmi K30 and the most highlighting element of the upcoming smartphone is its connectivity. As Lu confirmed that the smartphone will support the next-generation communication technology and that is 5G.
With the upcoming K30 smartphone, the company will launch its first 5G enabled device. Having said that, it’s safe to assume that the K30 will have a Pro variant and that too feature 5G connectivity.
