The cloud storage is very important in digital life, everyone uses the services to keep their files safely and we have three major service providers Microsoft, Google, and Apple iCloud. Well, now Microsoft is all set to strengthen its OneDrive and for that, the company has announced the new features which will definitely be going to help the users of Microsoft to drive.
Microsoft has added the new Personal Vault, and that will offer an additional layer of security with a dedicated area which will allow users to protect the content with a PIN, fingerprint/ facial authentication, or a two-factor authentication (2FA) code. The new setup will allow users to through the documents, photos, and videos through the OneDrive website as well as its mobile apps. Further, users can also scan documents and capture images via the OneDrive camera which means users can save the entire camera roll of the smartphone to the cloud.
The company has also added some cool features like automatic locking, BitLocker encryption, and restricted sharing to provide a compelling experience through Personal Vault. All these features are now rolling out for the global users of the Microsoft service.
That’s not all, the company has also added a new expandable storage feature for the Office 365 subscribers and that will give an option to add 200 GB extra storage to the existing 1 TB plan and this will be available from starting at $1.99 in the US per month.
