Ever since the launch of Redmi K30 back in December, many of us are waiting for the K30 Pro. Because of the value K20 Pro gave for the money, our expectations from K30 Pro is very high. But sadly we aren’t hearing much about the device. There are some obvious features we know about the device, like Snapdragon 865 processor and 64MP primary camera. But till date we don’t have any solid information, especially about the design.
Now today we got first leaked image of Redmi K30 Pro, revealing the design as well as few features. As you can see from the images below, both pictures are from the back with design blocking case. But it’s giving us some good pieces of information. First thing to notice is quad camera setup with 64MP primary sensor. This is probably the popular Sony IMX686 sensor. Then there’s an LED flash below and below the flash we can see 5G mark. So this confirms that there will be a 5G variant of the device as well, or maybe 5G is there for all variants.
Now the 2nd image confirms the 3.5mm headphone jack, and also a pop-up selfie camera. So this means the Redmi K30 Pro will be amongst those limited smartphones of 2020 without any kind of notch. And that’s impressive. Also another leak from Weibo confirms a Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition, as you can see from the images below. The major difference expected here is better zoom lens, or maybe a zoom lens which might lack in regular K30 Pro.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. There are also some speculations online that the Redmi K30 Pro will be the cheapest Snapdragon 865 powered smartphone in India, whenever it will launch. And that launch is expected in the next week, or maybe next month. Also it might be Poco F2 in India while K30 Pro globally. Well, only time will answer all of these questions.
