OnePlus 8 Series Gets First Software Update

The latest and greatest OnePlus 8 series is yet to reach the first customer but the company already rolled out the first software update for both the devices and that means the company will treat its customers with the day one update.

OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 10.5.4 for both the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro smartphones and it comes with too many fixes and enhances the general system features. Having said that, both the smartphones comes with the same changelog and that is quite large as well.

Camera

• Added video filter feature

Fingerprint Unlock

• Optimized the fingerprint unlock experience when unlocking the device

Phone updates

• Added contact notes info for incoming calls

Network updates

• Optimized network data transmission performance and stability

Voice Assistant updates

• Now you can wake up voice assistant of your choice just by long-pressing the power button

Well, it’s sad to know that even after the update both the devices are running on March 2020 security patch and I want that the company work on the same and provide the security patches on time instead of a month delay.
