Realme Watch is the first Smartwatch of the company and now it receives its second software update with multiple improvements, the latest update makes the device more useful and handy. So, let’s check out the complete details of the new software update.
With the latest software update, the new Realme Watch will provide improved notifications management and now the device will offer up to 10 notifications on the display and that will be in the medium of the dropdown. Realme also brings 7 new languages on the board and the device will also allow you to enable and disable the Do Not Disturb mode automatically according to your time preferences.
Apart from this, the company also optimizes the battery department along with the overall improvement in the different capability of the device, the new software update also kills the bugs of the Realme Watch.
Speaking about the availability of the new update, Realme started to roll out the same via OTA, and users of the device can able to update through the Realme Link app.
Specifications of Realme Watch
It sports a 1.4-inch Touchscreen 2.5D curved display with 320 x 320 pixels resolution and the same is protected with Gorilla Glass 3, along with 323 PPI pixel density as well as 380 nits brightness. The device is also coming with 12 pre-installed watch faces and the company promised to bring 100 watch faces via future update. The display will present information such as time, date, weather, steps, heart rate, and calories.
The newly announced Realme Watch also supports the real-time heart rate sensor and the same is powered by an in-built PPG sensor, Realme also says the device will record the heart rate in every five minutes and offer alerts if under specific conditions. Realme Watch also comes with the SpO2 sensor and the same will measure the blood oxygen levels.
It also comes with 14 sports mode and that includes badminton, indoor and outdoor run, yoga, walking, and more, the device is also capable for the sleep monitoring, and the device will remind various conditions such as sedentary, hydration, and meditation relaxing.
Being a smartwatch, it is also capable to provide notifications from various applications and that includes voice calls, SMS, and notification from various social media applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and more. Moreover, the newly unveiled Realme Watch is also coming with the capability to unlock the Smartphone and to control music player remotely, the wearable also has the ability to become a remote for the camera sensors of your phone.
It is worth to mention that the device will not allow you to attend the call as it lacks the capability, but it will allow you to reject or silent the call directly from your wrist and there is no need to take the phone out from your pocket.
The wearable also has an IP68-certified which means it has dust and water resistance, it also comes with the Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and the device will support with the smartphones which are running on Android 5.0 or above. Realme Watch comes with 160 mAh battery and the company says that it will offer 7 days of battery with the heart rate sensor-enabled and if you disable the feature then the device will offer two days of extra battery. Having said that, the device also comes with power-saving mode and if you enable the same then the device will offer up to 20 days of battery.
