Lenovo has unveiled its first-ever gaming smartphone and it is one of the feature-rich smartphones yet. It’s one of those smartphones that you could call a monster or a gamer’s paradise. It brings many industry-first features and maxed out specifications. Lenovo Legion Duel does not cut any corners and it is the first time ever that Lenovo has introduced such a spec-heavy smartphone. Specifications of Lenovo Legion Duel
Starting with the display, the smartphones sport a 6.59-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display. Being a gaming smartphone it boats of 144Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate which could be a delight to the gamers. The smartphones feature a pop-up selfie camera on the side. It is of the resolution of 20-megapixels with f/2.2 aperture. This could ensure a better experience for the gamers who would like to stream their sessions and it also helps to offer a distraction-free viewing experience.

The Lenovo Legion Duel is powered by the new Snapdragon 865 Plus from Qualcomm and Adreno 650 for handling graphic intense games. The smartphone offers three memory configurations. The base variant offers an 8/128 GB configuration. The middle one offers 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The maxed-out variant offers 16 GB RAM and 512 GB of storage. The extra features include the in-display fingerprint scanner for added security. It also offers dual stereo front-facing speakers with dual AWINIC 88264 codec, a Quad-microphone system for better audio recording, and dedicated Ultrasonic sensors for gaming.
Being a gaming smartphone, Lenovo has kept the count of rear cameras to just two. It has a  64MP primary camera with 0.8µm pixels and f/1.89 aperture. The second camera is a 16MP wide-angle sensor with a FOV of 120°. As mentioned the side pop-up selfie camera is a 20 MP one. The rear camera can shoot videos at 30 FPS in 4K resolution.
For connectivity options, it has two USB Type-C ports for plugging in consoles and charging the phone at the same time. It also has Bluetooth 5.1and Wi-Fi 6. In terms of the battery department, Lenovo Legion Duel’s smartphone has a big 5,000 mAh battery and comes with a 90 W fast charger inside the box. The company claims it can refill the battery up to 70% in just 30 minutes. The 90W charger can top up the phone from 0% to 50% in just 10 minutes and take it to 100% in under 30 minutes. But you need to charge the smartphone via both ports at the same time to achieve this speed. The company has adopted this method owing to safety and longevity concerns. The smartphone will ship with Android 10 OS with ZUI 12/Legion OS on top.
Pricing and Availability
The Lenovo Legion Duel will be available starting this month in China. The pricing starts at CNY 3499 (~$500/₹37,300) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The 12+256 GB variant is available at a price of CNY 4199 (~$600/₹44,700). And the maxed out 16+512 GB variant is priced at CNY 5999 (~$740/₹63,900).
Lenovo is also planning to launch Lenovo Legion Duel in other markets like Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. As of now, the company has no plans to sell it in the US.
