The world’s most popular messaging application WhatsApp has updated, and makes the app more secure. In the latest update, WhatsApp brings two-step verification. Currently, the new feature is available only for the beta testers, you can get the new features on the beta version 2.16.346.

With the new update, you can enable two-step verification. You can enable it in the ‘Account Settings’, tap on the ‘two-step verification’ and tap on ‘Enable’. Now you will be asked to enter a six digit passcode, this code will be ask you next time when you register. (For example: if you uninstalled and re-install the WhatsApp, then the app will ask the passcode). After entering the passcode, the app will ask you to enter your email id. It is for resetting the code, if you forgot the code in future.
Another feature introduced in the latest update, you can play audio messages in the background. Earlier, we have to stick in the conversation to hear the audio or voice messages. But with the new update you move to another conversation or even leave the app while listening the audio messages.
The new features are in beta version, it will take some time to appear in public version. If you want the latest features right now, then sign up to the official beta program. And enjoy cool features before the official launch.
