Xiaomi, a mobile phone manufacturing brand, has debuted the latest device Xiaomi 12 Pro in India. The device was first unveiled in China last December. Specifications of Xiaomi 12 Pro
The Xiaomi 12 Pro supports a premium design. Xiaomi 12 Pro sports an 6.73-inch,E5 AMOLED display with 10-bit color and 1,500 nits of brightness. Moreover, it supports a Quad HD+ up to a 480Hz touch sampling rate, as well as a 1Hz–120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The resolution is 3200 x 1440 pixels. The new device houses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform. The device packs up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM as well as up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Xiaomi 12 Pro got power from a 4,600mAh battery with 120W fast-charging. The company says the device needs only 18 minutes to recharge through its rapid charging technology. The Xiaomi 12 Pro houses Xiaomi’s self-developed P1 chip. It comes with 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. It supports pre-installed Android 12 OS and MUI 13.
Speaking about the connectivity, the device supports dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C slot, Dolby Atmos support, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
Regarding the camera department, it has a rear camera setup. It supports a 50-megapixel Sony IMX707 primary camera as well as a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The primary camera has OIS support and secondary features a 115-degree FOV. The company also has a 50-megapixel portrait camera. Moreover, it sports a 32-megapixel front camera.
Pricing and availability
The Xiaomi 12 Pro with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is available at Rs 62,999 (~$823). The 12GB RAM + 256GB model costs Rs 66,999 (~$875). The company introduces the smartphone in black, blue, and purple color options. It plans to start the sale on May 2 through Mi.com and Amazon India.
