According to the latest information, WhatsApp has started testing the new Companion Mode in the latest beta version of Android. The new feature will enable you to link your same WhatsApp registered account to your secondary device and the same can be used at a same time.
The report suggests that if you are linking another device that is already associated with a registered WhatsApp registered account, then you will be automatically logged out from that account and all the data which are saved locally will be deleted including messages and media.
