The popular instant messaging application WhatsApp is reportedly testing a new capability that will enable users to connect third party AI agents and bots on the board. This particular feature is believed to provide each connected agent a separate chat and that will allow users to interact with them without leaving the WhatsApp application.
It is currently available to a limited number of users of Android platform and the company is believed to expand the availability of the new feature to more accounts in the near future.
WhatsApp is also believed to enable users to assign each agent a name and profile photo and WhatsApp will enable to connect up to 5 agents per account.
