Nokia has officially launched a new smartphone in its Nokia C-series and the newly announced smartphone is dubbed the Nokia C12. It is actually an entry level smartphone and the device is running on the Android 12 Go operating system. The Nokia C12 features a 6.3-inch display along with an HD+ resolution and it is having a waterdrop notch on the top of the screen.
The device is offering a 5MP front camera while the back panel of the device is having an 8MP sensor along with a LED flash. The back panel of the device features a texturised pattern for a better grip and the same is IP52-rated dust and splash-proof. Unfortunately, the device is missing a fingerprint scanner but the device is having face unlock support for an additional layer of security.
Under the hood, the Nokia C12 is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Unisoc SC9863A processor along with 2GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and that can be expandable using a microSD card. The device is running on Android 12 Go Edition out of the box and the company promises to offer two years of quarterly security updates. It is housing a 3,000mAh battery and the same is user-removable which is pretty interesting.
Talking about the connectivity options, the Nokia C12 supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, dual SIM, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microUSB port.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the Nokia C12 is having a price tag of EUR 119 and the same is available in Europe. We don’t have any information on the launching of the device in India.
