Susan Wojcicki is one of a prominent women and the CEO of the world’s most favourite video sharing platform YouTube is officially confirmed to step down from the position.
She has confirmed that she will start a new chapter that will focus on her family, health, and personal projects. Having said that, Susan Wojcicki will be a part of Google as well as Alphabet but as in an advisory role.
It is worth mentioning that the search engine giant Google had its headquarter in Susan Wojcicki’s garage in the initial stage and Google’s founders, Larry Page, and Sergey Brin, are her personal friends. She has also taken her responsibility very well and played crucial role in various sectors of Google and also made YouTube as the world’s largest video platform as well.
That said, Neal Mohan will take over her responsibilities. He is YouTube’s Chief Product Officer, and his new position will be the Senior Vice-President and Head of YouTube rather than the CEO. Speaking about him, he helped the company to launch YouTube TV, YouTube Music, Premium, and Shorts.
Coming back to Susan Wojcicki, her earlier roles including the first product manager of AdSense and also played a role in the earliest Google Doodles.
