Yesterday, Nokia surprised everyone by updating its iconic logo and also confirmed that it is changing its business strategy as well. If you are someone who is upset with the new logo then we have a piece of good information for you.
The brand has officially confirmed that its brand licensees who deal with consumer products will continue to use the old Nokia logo which means the old logo is not dead.
If you are not aware, the smartphones and feature phones on the market with the brand name of Nokia are not made by the Finnish firm and the same are sold by HMD Global, which is one of the many Nokia brand licensees.
**UPDATE** Official statement from Nokia on brand change: Going forward Nokia brand licensed consumer products will use the classic Nokia logo. The classic logo is a good fit with consumer devices given our heritage in the device space.
