Acer introduced the new Swift X laptops and Aspire C-series all-in-one PCs at CES 2022. The new Swift X laptops include 14-inch and 16-inch models. Acer’s updated Aspire lineup includes Aspire C24 and C27 with 24-inch and 27-inch display sizes, respectively.
All new PCs have the latest 12th generation Intel Core processors, while the Acer Swift X 16-inch model comes with Intel’s much awaited Arc Alchemist Discrete GPU. All new models are equipped with Windows 11, and PCs include the new Nvidia GeForce MX550 graphics.
Acer Swift X 14-inch, 16-inch laptop specifications
The Acer Swift X 14-inch and Acer Swift X 16-inch laptops come with Windows 11.They display displays with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 92.22% screen-to-body aspect ratio and 100% coverage of the sRGB color gamut.
The Acer Swift X 14-inch variant features an IPS display with a resolution of 2,240×1,400 pixels and offers 300 nit peak brightness. On the other hand, the 16-inch model’s display has a resolution of 2,560×1,600 pixels. It also offers peak brightness of up to 400 nits.
Acer Swift X models with Acer Bluelite Shield, Acer XColor and Acer Color Intelligence features allow users to see deeper and richer colors.
The Acer Swift X 14-inch laptop has a 12 Gen Intel Core processor up to 12 cores and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU. The device has a fan, air inlet keyboard and dual heat pipes to dissipate the heat generated by the processor.
The Acer Swift X 16-inch model has 12th generation Intel Core processors with up to 12 cores (4P-cores and 8 e-cores) and discrete Intel Arc graphics. To speed up the heat dissipation, the Acer laptop is equipped with dual fans, dual copper heat pipes, air inlet keyboard and exhaust port.Acer claims that the new model meets the requirements of the Intel Evo laptop.
Connectivity options on these new laptops include Wi-Fi 6E, two Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and HDMI 2.0. They also include a fingerprint sensor that allows users to log in faster with Windows Hello.
Both models carry a full-HD webcam with Acer’s Temporary Noise Reduction (TNR) technology. It is supported by DTS audio technology and Acer Purified voice along with AI noise reduction. The Acer Swift X 14-inch is 17.9mm thick and weighs 1.4kg.
Acer Aspire C27, Aspire C24 specifications
The Acer Aspire C24 (24-inch) and Acer Aspire C27 (27-inch) feature full-HD touch displays with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.14%. The displays are Acer based on Bluelight Shield technology to reduce strain on the user’s eyes.
The new PCs in the Aspire lineup come with 12th generation Intel Core processors and the new Nvidia GeForce MX550 graphics. Both models offer up to 64GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM, up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 3 SSD, and up to 2TB of HDD for storage.
The Acer Aspire C27 comes with a 5 megapixel webcam and two stereo microphones. However, the webcam features of the new Aspire C24 are not currently available.Connectivity options on the two laptops include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2 and Thunderbolt 4 port.

Price and availability details for Acer Swift X, Aspire C27 and Aspire C24 are yet to be announced.
