Different browsers have different method to add website on Start Menu. In this article we are showing for two browsers. So, here we go.
Google Chrome
Let’s start with Google Chrome, on the Chrome first you have have to open the website which you want to link. Click the menu (three-dots which will be located at the top right hand side) and select ‘More Tools’, then click on ‘Add to Desktop’. Now enter name in the dialogue box which pops up, (you can give any name, like the website name) and click on ‘Add’. You can also decide whether you want to open the website in its own window or open the website in normal browser. If you want to open the website in its own Window, then check the option ‘Open as window’ option to open the website in its own window. And if you want open the website in normal browser tab then uncheck ‘Open as window’ option.
Your website will be appear under ‘Recently Added’, you can drag and drop it to the start menu.
Microsoft Edge
Open the website which you want to link on start Menu and click on the menu of the browser. And click ‘Pin This Page to Start’, agree to add the page and your website will be appear on the start menu.
Simple but it really comes handy for those who browse a website always.
