Airtel the leading telecom operator of the country has rolled out its 5G service in 3 more cities in the country and now the company is offering its 5G service in over 140 cities across the country.
It is officially confirmed that the Airtel 5G Plus service is now available in Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula. The network is likely to expand its Airtel 5G Plus services to 300 cities by the March end. Airtel has also promised to offer 5G service across the country by the end of March 2024.
The customers of Airtel can enjoy 5G service in the cities where the service is available without any additional cost as the service is currently in the beta stage. Airtel is offering its 5G service on a non standalone network which means it is using its 4G infrastructure to offer the 5G connectivity in India.
