After the adoption of 5G connectivity in India on October 1 last year, Jio and Airtel working really hard to offer 5G service across the country. Currently, the 5G service is in the beta stage and Jio has promised to offer 5G across the country by the end of this year while Airtel will be completing its work by March 2024.
As part of the expansion, now the leading telecom operator Airtel has rolled out its Airtel 5G Plus service in multiple cities of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
The 5G services are already live in Varanasi and Lucknow, and now the telecom operator has enabled the 5G service in Meerut, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Agra, and Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. While the cities of Rajasthan including Udaipur, Kota, and Jaipur also get the 5G service.
Customers with 5G enabled smartphones can enjoy fast access to HD video streaming, gaming, multiple chats, and instant photo uploads, among others.
It is worth mentioning that Airtel is offering its 5G service on a non standalone network which means it is using its 4G infrastructure to offer 5G service in the country.
